DIRECTOR: "I have a documentary series that is about people who live their daily lives on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, and I want a title sequence to appear in the beginning of all the episodes"
First, I was in charge of generating the overall aesthetic and mood of the piece by designing the series title within an atmosphere inspired by river mouths where they meet the sea, setting the tone for presenting both the credits and the series title.
“The idea was to select some of the characters that appeared in the series, turn them into illustrations, and blend them with these water textures to present each of the production team’s credit titles.

Then for the final result, I used several animation and composition techniques. Intervening in the liquid textures and also some of the frames of the real image, converting them into an illustration, playing with lighting, color and the integration of all the elements.
